On 22 May 2025, the unique 8th edition of the tour de wind REFRESHER – one of the most exciting cycling events in the wind energy industry – will take place! Cycling enthusiasts will come together to take part in this extraordinary competition that combines sport, passion and sustainability. This year the event is open to as many as 400 participants!
A challenging route
tour de wind 2025 is not only a race, but also a journey through picturesque landscapes and eco-friendly areas. Two routes are planned this year: a basic and an advanced route, covering 48 km and 84 km respectively. The basic route runs through Koszalin – Mielno – Gąski – Ustronie Morskie – Kołobrzeg, while the advanced route runs through Koszalin – Manowo – Nosowo – Rusowo – Ustronie Morskie – Kołobrzeg, offering participants both challenging climbs and exciting descents. The event has been organised since 2016 and a total of 384km have been ridden so far!
REFRESHER – new energy for tour de wind
This year’s theme ‘REFRESHER’ refers to a complete refresh of the rally’s image, but also symbolises the energy, freshness and change that inspires the industry to act and grow. The tour de wind rally is an opportunity to discover new opportunities together, redefine priorities and get motivated to take on new challenges.
Who for?
tour de wind is an event for all cycling and wind energy enthusiasts! Professionals and amateur cyclists alike will have the opportunity to challenge themselves on a course tailored to different levels of experience. To date, more than 1040 participants from 206 different companies have taken part in the event.
The organisers have also prepared numerous activities for the participants. In the evening, there will be a networking section, where a joint dinner will create space for further relationship building. The highlight of the evening will be a charity auction hosted by a special guest. All funds raised will be donated to those in need, which is an important part of the tour de lift idea.
