Danish renewables developer-operator Eurowind Energy has received the green light to proceed with its 49.5-MW wind farm project in Ulkaer Mose, situated in the Danish peninsula of Jutland. The Environment and Food Board of Appeal has approved the project, allowing construction to commence imminently, as announced by the company in a social media post.

The Ulkaer Mose wind farm will be located in the municipality of Ikast-Brande and will feature 11 wind turbines, each standing at a height of 150 meters (492 feet). Upon completion, this facility is expected to generate enough electricity to supply approximately 31,500 homes annually.

Eurowind Energy, founded in 2006, specializes in the development, construction, and operation of renewable energy projects, encompassing wind, solar, hydrogen, biogas, power-to-heat, and battery storage technologies. By late January, the company had amassed a substantial portfolio, owning and operating 1.1 GW of solar and wind parks across Europe.
